The Ways Google Can Promote Creative Content

Today, more than 3/4 Netizens use Google search to explore the world wide web. The goal is to find more relevant content for given search queries. Sometimes what happens that we see irrelevant search results which doesn’t answer our queries, it happens due to loopholes or bad SEO practices. When it comes to Search Engine Optimization, Google can promote creative representation that would be more meaningful to end users.

Certainly, Google can do something about it to build the web that make sense. As users we expect search engines keep up its’ purpose. A search engine has to cater creativity to end users and for that it has to drop generalized content meant to stuff keywords.

Smart Crawler

We are getting smart(heh..isn’t it!!). Google crawler is better than it was a few years ago, and it has a long way to go. Smart crawling will make sure correct search on given query that could end bad SEO practices. Crawler should decide whether the content is relevant to given query, and that’s where Google has to look beyond keywords.

Search Categorization

If you search for ‘Apple’ you will get different results not related to each-other. Here, if Google ask webmasters to select categories(e.g Blog, eCommerce, Legal …) for websites that would help to find accurate results.

We often look for products on eCommerce platforms using similar type of search pattern. There is a kind of categorisation exist in Google Search but this could take it to a new level.

Valuable Feedback

We use number of Internet products and services, but initially it is tough to recognise a genuine business online. Encryption can encode the data transmission that’s it, you can not label SSL verified website a trusted business. Google can program a mechanism to collect the feedback of real customers and arrange website based on merit.

Again these are a few factors Google can consider to improve search. As a Netizen I would like to see something which makes sense to me, not some random stuff on the Internet.

Content Marketing

As the name speaks for self, Google is likely to shift towards content that means the number of links is not irrelevant, only the quality of backlink counts. It is better to put genuine marketing efforts through the delivery of knowledgeable content.

Content should educate audience, and that something Google would encourage, after all Google user is a seeker who is looking to find an answer to query.

I think 1 quality backlink can defeat 1000 random ones and that’s something business owners should avoid to get good rank on Google search result pages.

I personally believe that content marketing is the only way forward for Search Engine Optimization.

One more important thing about content marketing is originality. Ask yourself following questions before you start optimization.

  • Is content original?
  • Does content answer query?
  • Does it interlink relevant information to provide comprehensive information to reader?

Social Media

Mostly, you see social media platforms give a nofollow reference to links, but that doesn’t mean it has not relevancy.

The most of brand building happens on social media platforms, that’s where customers stay upto date, interact, and follow favourite brands.

Here, not through backlinks but some other way business can improve their Google rank.
